Yesterday, we got the news that we were a finalist in the Events Production Awards! I'm hoping to go to London for the awards ceremony for a few weeks. Does this mean I have to dress up? (Currently manifesting accepting a trophy with a room full of cheering people, ready or not!)
I feel disappointed and proud when I look at myself in the mirror. The last year of sedentary lifestyle in front of a computer has both paid off and taken its toll. My body carried me through the last year and a half and it has kept the score, from my stress fatty belly to my tired eyes.
We all fall off the band wagon sometimes. I guess what matters is how you get back up. I obviously didn't write down my intentions! So planning on sticking to 3 acts of self care for 3 weeks.
Drink water! Stick to lemon-cinnamon water in the morning and 2 liters throughout the day.
Eat healthy. Healthy food, healthy portions.
Increase blood flow! Exercise Daily. Try do it twice a day. HIIT in the morning with a slow walk, stretch or yoga in the evening. Dry brush. Massage! Moisturize
The development and maintenance of habit / routine can reduce stress (say bye bye to the cortisol belly), help you sleep better. It's usually advised that you change one thing at a time but, as you can see, I am working with a tight time frame here. I'm motivated by fear! So I'm developing 3 habits.
Building out your intentions and the changes you want to see can help you be consistent and hold yourself accountable and having a routine is how you build habits.
If you have a goal, break it down into small steps that you can do daily and incorporate those steps to your routine. This is the logical way to manifest your goals.
My Affirmations for a Healthy Body.
"My body is powerful and wise. I cherish and accept it today. I challenge and lead it for tomorrow."
"Every choice adds up and I choose to bless my body."
"I show my body gratitude by nourishing it with healthy foods."
"I move my body every day to be strong and confident."
Fingers crossed! The next few weeks are going to be fun! Can't wait to see what this little machine can do.
